Important Flu Information

Posted on:

Things are a little different at the surgery at the moment.  In order for us to invite patients for a flu vaccine safely we have had to make a few changes to the process.

Patients will be invited for flu vaccines in the normal way. Appointments will be on set days and times to limit the contact a patient has at the surgery and for everyone’s safety including the staff.

We ask that patient’s DO NOT attend the surgery unless they have been asked to do so by a member of staff at the practice.  Attend alone or with a carer/parent if required.

Patients will be given an appointment date and time.  We ask that you do not arrive any earlier than 5 minutes before your allocated time to limit the contact patients have with other patients and staff. On arrival you will be expected to sanitise your hands, have a temperature check done by a Practice Nurse or Health Care Assistant and attend your appointment wearing a face mask or covering. Social Distancing is in place and patients will need to remain 2 meters apart at all times.

(Signs will be in place)

Patients will receive important information from the practice before they attend their appointment and we ask that you read this information carefully.  You may also receive questions asking you important information and you will need to respond to this in order for our staff to plan their clinics safely.

Please click on the link below relevant to your age group for information regarding the flu vaccine you will receive.

Please read before attending your appointment.
